​The ECA is based in Luxembourg and has around 900 staff. We are an EU institution on a human scale, which allows for easier integration, facilitates interaction and fosters teamwork.   • Our premises, comprising three buildings on a single site, offer a modern, collaborative, secure and environmentally friendly physical work environment. We equip our staff with all the IT tools and infrastructure they need to work flexibly and effectively.

  • Our staff have the option of hybrid working, and can even work from abroad for a limited number of days per year. Flexible work patterns are also available.


We offer competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package including leave, a pension scheme, worldwide medical insurance cover for staff and their dependents, and life and disability insurance. Various allowances (expatriation, household and child allowances) may be added to the basic salary, depending on individual situation and family circumstances. The gross salary is exempt from national tax but is subject to EU tax and a solidarity levy.

Staff are entitled to at least 24 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
