Visiting the Court

Group visits to the European Court of Auditors are organised by the Liaison Office and Protocol Unit.

Visit requests must be received at least two months in advance and must state why the group is interested in the audit of European public funds. For security reasons, and because space is limited, groups may be no larger than 50 people, with a lower age limit of 14.

Visits last between one and one-and-a-half hours and consist of a presentation by a Court official of the role and workings of the Court of Auditors, followed by a discussion.

Refurbishment work is being carried out on our visitor centre in 2013, which will restrict the number and size of the groups of visitors we can accommodate. For this reason, we are unfortunately not in a position to accept all requests to visit, particularly those involving more than 20 people. We apologise for any inconvenience.
